Healthcare Professionals Explore Advances in Perioperative Care

Organised by the College of Anaesthesiologists (CAS), the Refresher Course & Annual General Meeting (AGM) 2026 welcomed healthcare professionals on 9 May 2026 at the Holiday Inn Singapore Atrium. The event provided a valuable platform for clinicians and industry partners to exchange insights and discuss the latest developments in perioperative management, airway management, postoperative brain health and intraoperative haemodynamic management.

idsMED Singapore, alongside fellow exhibitors, showcased a range of innovative medical solutions designed to support safer, more efficient and patient-centred perioperative care. The event also created opportunities for meaningful engagement with healthcare professionals through knowledge-sharing sessions, product discussions and networking.

Throughout the event, the idsMED Singapore Critical Care team engaged attendees through hands-on product demonstrations and discussions on current clinical challenges and evolving healthcare needs. Featured solutions included:

  • Infusion pumps and tracheostomy tubes from ICU Medical
  • Video laryngoscopes from UE Medical
  • Stimpod Monitor from Xavant Technology
  • Non-invasive ventilation hospital masks from Fisher & Paykel

These solutions support critical aspects of patient care across intensive care and perioperative settings, particularly in areas such as postoperative brain health monitoring, airway management, medication delivery and overall patient safety.
