idsMED Completes Acquisition of Viet Thai Co., Ltd.

December 11, 2017, The Official Signing Ceremony between Viet Thai Co., Ltd and IDS Medical Systems (idsMED) took place in Melia Hotel, Hanoi. This event not only marks the successful cooperation between the two partners but also a chance to gratify all the traditional and potential customers.

It’s our honor to have the valuable presence of Vice Minister of Health, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Viet Tien and MSc. Mr. Nguyen Minh Tuan - Director of Department of Medical Equipment & Construction - Ministry of Health at this event.

Founded in 2002, Vietthai has an excellent track record in the medical equipment, consumables and projects in Vietnam. Dr. Ha and team will be joining idsMED, effective 1^st December 2017. Combining with idsMED’s existing business in Vietnam, led by Dr. Nguyen Quoc Tuan; we will now have a more complete solution for our customers. This acquisition will add to existing core in HCMC and provide better nation-wide coverage.

Speaking at the ceremony, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Viet Tien, Vice Minister of Health, said that with the participation of many key customers such as leaders, managers, key staff of hospitals, major domestic and foreign partners are present at this event, this proves that not only the success of the event but also their strong supports for the merger. This is an indispensable trend, contributing to diversify the market of medical equipment in Vietnam in the selection of suppliers. He also wished the two partners with the merger to expand, develop and succeed more and more in the future.

After the official signing ceremony, idsMED Vietnam organized the Celebration Dinner to congratulate this event. In this celebration, all guests and staffs enjoyed some special singing performances from our CEO– Mr. Ben Chang and many more performances from staffs.
