Bringing Innovative Imaging Technologies to CMIA 2026

On 26–27 February 2026, idsMED Thailand joined GE Healthcare at the Chiang Mai Imaging Assembly (CMIA) 2026, held at U Nimman Hotel. The team showcased the GE LOGIQ E10, highlighting Liver Care Suite technologies—including Ultrasound-Guided Attenuation Parameter (UGAP) and 2D Shear Wave Elastography (SWE)—alongside artificial intelligence tools, advanced blood flow imaging, cybersecurity, and mobility features, drawing strong visitor engagement.

The idsMED Thailand team was invited by GE Healthcare to participate in the GE Healthcare booth during the Chiang Mai Imaging Assembly (CMIA) 2026, organised by the Department of Diagnostic Radiology, Chiang Mai University. The two-day event was held on 26–27 February 2026 at U Nimman Hotel with the theme “Emergency, Excellence, and Efficiency in Radiology.”

As part of the sponsored booth, the idsMED Thailand team actively engaged visitors through interactive activities. Participants joined a lucky draw game for prizes including a Rabbit Doll with an idsMED Ribbon, an idsMED “We Care with the HEART” folder, and an idsMED pen. To qualify, attendees first listened to a presentation highlighting five key features of the GE LOGIQ E10 and correctly answered a related question.

Key features presented included:

Liver Care Suite (UGAP & 2D SWE): UGAP quantifies liver steatosis to support early identification of NAFLD, NASH, and ASH, complemented by 2D Shear Wave Elastography for non-invasive fibrosis assessment.
AI-Powered Productivity: Tools such as Auto Doppler Assistant, Auto Lesion Segmentation, and Scan Assistant streamline workflows and reduce manual steps.
Advanced Imaging Tools: Radiantflow, B-Flow, and Contrast-Enhanced Ultrasound (CEUS) enhance diagnostic capabilities.
Digital Architecture & Security: Windows 10 operating platform with SonoDefense multi-layer cybersecurity protection.
Ergonomics & Mobility: Floating keyboard, articulating monitor, and Power Assistant enabling over 20 minutes of battery-powered scanning without reboot.
Versatility: Compatibility with XDclear probes, including specialised transducers for pediatric, small parts, and vascular imaging.

Participants were then asked: “When planning the budget for your department’s ultrasound system, what key features would you prioritise?” The question encouraged thoughtful discussion and positive engagement with prospective customers.
