CLABSI- A Course Extraordinaire that Warms a Customer’s Mind and Heart

Undaunted by the heavy rains, strong wind and scattered floods in the metro, 51 Infection Control and Intensive Care specialists trooped to idsMED Philippine’s Education Center last July 26, 2017 to learn about CLABSI - Central Line Acquired Blood Stream Infection and the proper care and Maintenance of Central lines. The course is an educational offering co-sponsored with Teleflex Arrow to highlight the safety of its latest
PICC line with Chlorag+ard Technology.

Jim Lacy’s credential as a speaker was enough come-on for the participants to brave the obstacles brought about by Tropical Storm Nesat. Jim is a certified vascular access nurse (VA-BC) from Salt City, Utah with over 35 years of clinical experience. He was a former President of the Board of Directors of the Association for Vascular Access (AVA), and the 2011 recipient of the Suzanne La Vere Herbst Award for Excellence in Vascular Access given by AVA.
