Celebrating Singapore: National Day Teatime Party at idsMED Singapore

On 7 August 2025, idsMED Singapore celebrated Singapore’s 60th birthday with a vibrant National Day Teatime Party. Highlights included a lively Singapore-themed treasure hunt, where cross-department teams of five raced around the office solving clues. Laughter, teamwork, and red-and-white spirit filled the air. Winners took home Starbucks Gift Cards, while all enjoyed a nostalgic Old Chang Kee teatime spread. Thanks to HR for a well-organised and memorable celebration.

On 7 August 2025, the idsMED Singapore Office was filled with festive cheer as employees came together for the National Day Teatime Party, celebrating Singapore’s 60th birthday with games, snacks, and camaraderie.

The highlight of the afternoon was a Singapore-themed treasure hunt that got everyone moving – quite literally. Employees divided themselves into teams of five, and it was nice seeing the groups consist of colleagues from different departments, encouraging cross-functional collaboration. This not only made the game more dynamic but also gave employees a chance to interact with team members they might not usually work closely with, fostering stronger connections across the organisation.

Armed with a set of clues, teams raced around the office to track down hidden items and take photos with the items they found. Many were seen excitedly running around and laughing, with the friendly competition bringing out an infectious energy in the room. The top 2 winning groups walked away with Starbucks Gift Cards – a well-deserved prize for their quick thinking, teamwork, and enthusiasm.

And of course, no celebration would be complete without food. The teatime featured a nostalgic spread from Old Chang Kee, including crowd favourites like Curry’O and Spring’O, as well as festive specials such as Chilli Crab’O and Salted Egg Chicken Chunky Pops. These delicious bites not only added to the general enjoyment of the session, but they also added to the patriotic spirit – especially with many employees dressed in red and white for the occasion.

Beyond the fun and food, the celebration was an opportunity for colleagues to unwind, bond, and share in the joy of the nation’s birthday together. The afternoon was a perfect mix of laughter, camaraderie, and national pride – a true reflection of the unity and warmth that define the idsMED family.
