Kidney disease remains a significant health concern in Singapore. Diabetes and high blood pressure—both conditions prevalent in the local population—are the leading causes of kidney failure, further intensifying the challenge of managing kidney health. Early detection and intervention are key to managing the progression of kidney disease, made possible through regular health screenings and preventive care.

In a bid to raise awareness about kidney health and educate the public on early detection and prevention, the Kidney Dialysis Foundation (KDF) hosted the KDF-World Kidney Day 2025 (KDF-WKD 2025) Roadshow. The event ran from 10 to 16 March 2025, at Sun Plaza’s Level 2 Atrium, offering a variety of educational activities and engaging experiences aimed at promoting kidney health.

idsMED Singapore participated in the roadshow from 14 to 16 March 2025 and showcased a range of innovative solutions in the Intermediate and Long-Term Care (ILTC) sector. One of the highlights was the Hublet, which was featured at the event’s Dialysis Experiential Booth – allowing visitors to learn more about the role it can play in kidney care.

Additionally, members from idsMED Singapore’s Medical Specialty Care (MSC) and ILTC teams were stationed to operate the MedLyves’ Medi-Kiosk. This offered participants a session of free health screening, with emphasis on the importance of early detection.

idsMED Singapore’s participation in the event reinforces its commitment to support KDF’s efforts to promote kidney health. The exhibition also provided a platform for idsMED to present innovative solutions aimed at improving healthcare in Singapore, including the realm of kidney disease prevention and management.

idsMED extends its gratitude to KDF for organising this impactful event, presenting an opportunity to share technological advancements with the public and contribute to the broader conversation on kidney health.
