On 12 February 2026, idsMED Singapore welcomed 29 guests from the Indian School of Business (ISB) to the idsMED Learning Academy (iLA) in Singapore. The delegation comprised students from the Postgraduate Programme (PGP) Class of 2026, alongside faculty and staff, as part of their international study trip.
Led by Professor Vijaya Sunder M, Assistant Professor (Practice) in the Operations Management Area and Academic Director of the Centre for Business Innovation at ISB, the visit was conducted under the “Digital Transformation in Services” course. Through these corporate engagements, students earn academic credits by analysing insights shared by senior leaders, strengthening their understanding of leadership and service-sector transformation.
idsMED’s senior leaders shared perspectives on how digital transformation is reshaping the organisation’s operations — improving efficiency, strengthening capabilities, and enabling greater agility across the business.
The session opened with remarks by Mr. Srikant Lal, Managing Director & SVP – Group BSC, who introduced idsMED’s service offerings and regional footprint. Mr. Edward Poon, Director – Operations, followed with insights on digitalisation in supply chain management and the role of data-driven strategies in enhancing productivity and supporting patient care.
Mr. Shrikanth Sankar, Senior Managing Director & EVP – Singapore, provided an overview of Singapore’s healthcare landscape and policy direction. Mr. Benjamin Soh, Director – Operations & RFM, shared perspectives on digital transformation across the service lifecycle, from onboarding to account management.
The session concluded with an engaging discussion, reflecting a meaningful exchange of ideas between the students and speakers.
Professor Vijaya Sunder M expressed appreciation to the idsMED team for supporting the study trek and presented each speaker with a token of appreciation.
idsMED extends its thanks to Professor Vijaya and the ISB delegation for the opportunity to contribute to this academic engagement and to share insights into Singapore’s healthcare ecosystem. The organisation wishes the PGP Class of 2026 continued success in their leadership journey.
