The 17th World Ageing Festival 2026—comprising the 17th Ageing Asia Innovation Forum (AAIF), the 14th Asia Pacific Eldercare Innovation Awards, and the Ageing Asia Innovation Exhibition—was held at the Marina Bay Sands Expo and Convention Centre on 14–15 April 2026.

Themed “Embracing Longevity: Asia’s Priority, The World’s Opportunity,” the event brought together global leaders in ageing and longevity to exchange insights and explore forward-looking solutions.

At this international platform, idsMED Singapore showcased a range of innovative solutions supporting successful ageing across active ageing, healthcare, technology, rehabilitation, and wellbeing, alongside other leading industry participants.
A diverse portfolio of products was presented at the idsMED booth, including medical consumables and ward furniture designed to support active ageing. The Intermediate and Long-Term Care (ILTC) and Clinical Specialist teams, together with brand representatives, engaged visitors throughout the two-day event, providing product demonstrations and sharing clinical insights.
Among the highlights were:
  • Neurosonic Professional Chair Gen 2, delivering enhanced recovery through advanced low-frequency vibration technology
  • aba Inc.’s Helppad, an excretion detection sensor that identifies the odour of urine and faeces and alerts caregivers via digital devices when a diaper change is needed
Both solutions attracted strong interest from attendees for their practical applications in elderly care.
Representatives from idsMED Singapore, including Mr Shrikanth Sankar (Senior Managing Director & EVP), Mr Chris Tan and Ms Catherine Wong (ILTC), Ms Mary Aw (Clinical Specialist), and Ms Sarah Chen (Marketing Communications), also attended the Awards Ceremony and Gala Dinner alongside partners from Japan and Finland.
idsMED Singapore’s continued participation in this global event reflects its commitment to delivering healthcare solutions that enhance quality of life. With the introduction of innovative technologies, the company aims to improve the well-being of both the elderly and their caregivers.

In addition to strengthening brand presence, the event provided valuable opportunities to establish new partnerships and deepen existing relationships. idsMED Singapore extends its appreciation to Ageing Asia for organising a successful and impactful event.
