Centralized Management Of Medical Tools - Primary Elements For Hospital Infection Control

The Workshop "The role of Infection Control in Surgery and Centralized Management of Medical tools" officially opened on the morning of September 24th at 108 Military Central Hospital. The seminar was organized to update new knowledge in the field of Infection Control (IC), especially the model of centralized management of medical tools at CSSD. At the same time, the workshop is also an opportunity for more than 200 doctors to better understand modern techniques in handling surgical instruments to reduce the rate of infection in surgery, advantages and disadvantages of materials and packing equipment in tool handling.

In Vietnam, 108 Military Central Hospital is one of the leading units in the country in the field of IC, owning a self-contained IC system with many modern Steris equipment distributed by idsMED.

In addition to efforts to improve the system to bring the safest and most positive healthcare environment to patients, the Hospital also regularly promotes training and professional exchanges such as the Workshop on September 24. This is one of many activities to help other hospitals and doctors to have the opportunity to improve their skills and the quality of the IC operation.
