Congratulations K Hospital On 50 Anniversary Of Establishment & Rêciving Third-Class Independence Medal

On the morning of July 18, K Hospital celebrated its 50th anniversary, marking a difficult and challenging road, but also full of pride throughout the past half century. Especially, the hospital also received the Third-class Independence Medal from Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc.

Addressing the ceremony, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc said: “K Hospital needs to continue to promote its achievements, while making more efforts to implement the mission assigned by the Party, the State, and the Ministry of Health in order to become the key base, leading the National Cancer Prevention Network, towards regional and international level”.

Also within the series of events celebrating 50 years of establishment, Prof. Dr. Tran Van Thuan, Director of K Hospital, Director of the National Cancer Institute signed a decision to organize the National Cancer Prevention Conference XIX. This is an opportunity for doctors to recognize and evaluate cancer prevention in Vietnam and update new knowledge and skills in the process of cancer treatment, prevention and screening.
