The Critical Care team organized their first-ever Neurosurgery Symposium on 15 August 2019 at Singapore’s Marriott Tang Plaza Hotel. The team invited Professor Michael Christoph Sabel, Head of the Centre of Neurooncology at the University Hospital Düsseldorf and a leading oncological neurosurgeon in Germany, as well as Professor Aliasgar V Moiyadi, Head of Neurosurgery Services at Tata Memorial Centre (TMC), Mumbai, India, to share their expertise with a group of 40 to 50 neurosurgeons.

The evening’s program began with a hands on station where attendees could try out the CUSA® Clarity, an ultrasonic tissue ablation device that delivers enhanced performance to optimize quick and safe debulking of fibrous tissue with 160% faster fibrous tissue removal vs. the leading competitor. After the hands on station, two members of Singapore’s Chapter of Neurosurgeons gave their opening addresses before Professor Moiyadi shared more on Glioma Surgery. Our Managing Director Vasanthi S then took the floor to introduce idsMED and our team before Professor Sabel shared on Cutting Edge Neurosurgical Oncology.

Congratulations to the team on a very successful event!
