idsMED Vietnam and Philips Support the IVUS and FFR/iFR Training for Vietnamese Cardiologists

On 25 July 2024, idsMED Vietnam and Philips celebrated the successful conclusion of the IVUS and FFR/iFR Training Programme at the Human Resource Training Centre of the Ho Chi Minh City University of Medicine and Pharmacy. The three-month course, which started in March 2024, was designed for 20 cardiologists from the southern region of Vietnam who received theoretical discussions and hands-on training conducted at various hospitals.

On 25 July 2024. idsMED Vietnam and Philips, in collaboration with the Interventional Cardiology Association of Ho Chi Minh City and the Ho Chi Minh City University of Medicine and Pharmacy, hosted the closing ceremony of the training programme on Intravascular Ultrasound (IVUS) and Fractional Flow Reserve/instantaneous wave-Free Ratio (FFR/iFR). The event took place at the Human Resource Training Centre of the Ho Chi Minh City University of Medicine and Pharmacy.

This three-month programme was specifically designed for 20 cardiologists from hospitals in the southern region of Vietnam. Throughout the training, participants engaged in theoretical discussions, analysed case studies, and participated in hands-on training sessions conducted at various hospitals.

idsMED Vietnam and Philips are honoured to have supported the programme and its participants from its commencement in March 2024.
