idsMED Vietnam Coordinates With Newborns Vietnam For The Mission Of Ending Preventable Deaths of Newborn Infants In Vietnam

In the framework of raising fund hosted by Newborns Vietnam for ending preventable deaths of newborn infants in Vietnam, on 22nd-23rd April 2019, idsMED will donate and join the Red River Run.

In April 2019, a very special event hosted by Newborns Vietnam: Red River Run will be carried out by 3 runners: Marieke Dekkers from the Netherlands, Robert West and Grant Bowdery from United Kingdom. On 22nd-23rd April, they will run non-stop 300 km away from Hanoi to Lao Cai. On Sunday 21st April, the run will start with doctors and nurses from from Vietnam National Children’s Hospital and Hanoi Obstetrics & Gynecology Hospital joining a 5 km warm up run. Supporting this event, Newborns Vietnam aims to raise awareness, call for support from society, and likewise share their vision: Together we can end preventable newborn deaths.


Coordinating with Red River Run, idsMED Vietnam donates 2 Nellcor™ Bedside SpO2 Patient Monitoring System devices valued 100 million VND. Furthermore, on 21st April, idsMED Vietnam staffs in Hanoi will participate in the run held at Hanoi Obstetrics & Gynecology Hospital
