Laerdal Model Training and Exchange Program

On November 27^th, the workshop "Application of practicing on model in maternal and newborn care training" was held at Hanoi Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospital with the participation of Director and the hospital physicians. At the workshop, Mr. Azad - Southeast Asia Manager of Laerdal introduced the models: Multifunctional nursing; newborn intensive care & emergency and ultrasound training on the obstetric multifunction model.

Laerdal models are durable, portable and lifelike products which are designed to practice script-based skills and training in caring and managing the pediatric patients at hospitals.

At the event, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Duy Anh - Director of Hanoi Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospital said: “Today, we are very happy to be introduced by idsMED and Laerdal experts about some of the models we have at our Training Center. I hope that our physicians will understand and be able to use maternal and infant care training model proficiently”.

Through this workshop, we would like to guide and discuss with the staffs of the training department, purchasing department, neonatal department... about how to operate the support equipment and the features of the model. We want to help the physician to understand more deeply the manipulations and problem-solving procedures before practicing on patients.
