New Technology Has Opened A New Era In Ent Treatment

With the theme "Application of some new technologies and technologies in diagnosis and treatment of TMH patients", the Conference is really an exciting scientific forum for scientists and doctors all over the North to present, exchange knowledge about ENT.

The conference gathered more than 500 participants, including professors, doctors, and experts from ENT association in Vietnam, Hanoi medical associations, HMU and its hospital, ENT lecturer in the North. 10 scientific papers which focused on the ENT pathology and modern technologies in diagnosis and treatment were presented at the conference. The reports were very practical and well-researched.

A highlight of the conference is the presentation of Assoc. Prof., PhD. Nguyen Quang Trung with the report "Evaluating the results of laryngeal electrode in thyroid surgery". During surgery, the recurrent laryngeal nerve needs special attention because the patient will lose voice, hoarseness, choke, trouble breathing, even a temporary trachea opening if the nerve is affected. time or forever. Assoc. Prof., PhD. Nguyen Quang Trung also introduced the trend of "NIM larynges" with many advantages: locating and identifying motor nerves and mixed nerves, monitoring electromechanical signals of nerves to avoid the above risks.
