The 4th St. Jude–VIVA Paediatric Surgical Oncology Symposium 2026, co-organised by St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and the Children’s Blood and Cancer Centre at KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital, was held on 6–7 March 2026 in Singapore. The symposium formed part of the 20th St. Jude–VIVA Forum, which also featured several sub-speciality programmes, including the 10th VIVA-Asia Nursing Symposium, 4th VIVA-Asia Learning Exchange, and the 7th VIVA-BMDP Asia Blood and Marrow Transplant Spring School 2026.
During the event, idsMED Singapore showcased a range of solutions designed to support healthcare professionals in the management of paediatric solid tumours. The exhibition took place at KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital in Singapore, where participants had the opportunity to learn more about products that support clinical care in paediatric oncology.
The two-day symposium brought together paediatric general surgeons, medical specialists, and allied health professionals from across the region, including Singapore. The gathering provided a platform for participants to exchange insights and expertise with the shared aim of advancing care and improving survival outcomes for children with cancer.
Highlighted products included the CADD-Solis Infusion System Pump, Implantable Ports, Port Access Needles, and BLUselect Tracheostomy Tubes from ICU Medical, as well as C3 Emptying Bags from Curas. These solutions support critical aspects of paediatric oncology care, including medication delivery, long-term vascular access, airway management, and patient care.
The symposium fostered interprofessional collaboration by bringing together experts to exchange insights and share expertise in advancing paediatric oncology care. It also created valuable opportunities for healthcare professionals and industry partners to connect and collaborate, united by a common goal of improving medical care and enhancing the quality of life for children with cancer.
