Rufi Susanto joined idsMED in 2013 following the acquisition of Fondaco Mitratama, the Indonesian healthcare distribution company he co-founded in 1996. His belief in the country’s significant healthcare market potential and his commitment to advancing standards of critical care have been instrumental in establishing idsMED as one of Indonesia’s leading medical distribution companies.
Rufi Susanto serves as President Director of idsMED Indonesia. In this role, he focuses on accelerating business growth in Indonesia, a strategically important market for the Group. He works closely with idsMED Indonesia Managing Directors and leadership to strengthen idsMED’s market leadership, expand business opportunities, and support the continued development of its core Specialty Care Areas (SCAs). Concurrently, he serves as Executive Director of idsMED Group, supporting strategic growth and principal partnerships across the region.
Rufi earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Saint Leo University in Florida, USA. Since joining idsMED, he has played a pivotal role in the Group’s growth and strategic development, bringing decades of experience and deep market insight to support the company’s long-term expansion.

Andy is the Managing Director & Senior Vice President – idsMED Indonesia Aesthetics, following his tenure as Senior Director for idsMED Indonesia. In addition to leading the Aesthetics business, he also oversees the Finance function for idsMED Indonesia. With more than 15 years of experience in accounting, finance, taxation, and audit, complemented by extensive leadership experience in business operations and strategic management, he has played an instrumental role in driving the company’s growth and transformation. Before joining idsMED, Andy held positions with Cargill, Navigat Energy, PT SMART Tbk., and KPMG. He holds a bachelor’s degree in economics (Accounting) from Tarumanagara University, a Master of Management from Pelita Harapan University, and an MBA from Peking University. He also holds several professional qualifications, including CGMA (US), ACMA (UK), CMA, CIBA Australia, ASEAN CPA, CA, and CCD Indonesia.
Ata serves as Chief Operating Officer of idsMED Indonesia. In this role, he is responsible for driving operational excellence, strengthening cross-functional execution, and supporting the company’s continued business growth in Indonesia. Concurrently, he serves as Senior Vice President of Marketing Communications at IDS Medical Systems Group, leading the Group’s branding, content, communications channels, corporate communications, and event management functions across the region.
Ata began his career with PwC Singapore before joining Philips Healthcare, where he held a range of business development, commercial, and customer financing roles across Indonesia, the United Kingdom, and Singapore. He joined idsMED in 2015.
Ata holds a Master of Business Administration from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, where he was awarded the Association of Banks in Singapore Gold Medal in 2012. He also earned a Bachelor of E-Commerce (Honours) from the National University of Singapore and completed an executive leadership programme at Harvard University.
