The Story Behind the Line

On 30 April 2021, idsMED Solutions Plus and doctorSHARE collaborated in hosting an inspiring Podcast titled “Podcare with doctorSHARE: The Story Behind the Line”. PodCare is idsMED Solutions Plus’ forum for information and education about health. This virtual event featured the legend behind doctorSHARE, dr. Lie Agustinus Dharmawan, Ph.D, Sp.B, Sp.BTKV.

dr. Lie has inspired many people when he built Yayasan Dokter Peduli (doctorSHARE) and RS. Apung or Floating Hospital. He shared how hard the process was in the beginning to build The Floating Hospital and how people called him "crazy man". However, he finally overcame the obstacles. Now, his focus is on doctorSHARE, a non-profit humanitarian organization that focuses on medical health services and humanitarian assistance. He aims to provide a quality of life for those living in remote or disadvantaged areas in Indonesia. He was motivated by his tough life in which he had lost his younger brother because of diarrhea.

After the inspiring story, there was a special giveaway for the few people who had some questions for dr. Lie.

It is hoped that this movement can encourage all of us to do the best and be kind to one another.
