On 4–5 April 2026, the BTKV Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Indonesia, organised the Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgery Course (CTVSC) at Harapan Kita, providing a comprehensive learning platform to enhance competencies in thoracic, cardiac, and vascular surgery.
The programme featured scientific symposia and interactive workshops attended by approximately 150 participants, including general practitioners, TCVS residents, and TCVS lecturers and consultants.
idsMED Indonesia participated as a supporting partner, contributing to workshop and symposium sessions that showcased a range of medical solutions, including Redax, tracheostomy sets, cannula, and vascular grafts. In addition to product presentations, the sessions provided hands-on opportunities for participants to gain practical experience, engage with clinical specialists, and explore relevant clinical applications.
Participants demonstrated strong engagement throughout the sessions, particularly with the tracheostomy devices and the Redax WSD system. Many attendees took the opportunity to test the devices, explore their features, and discuss procedural efficiency and patient safety considerations.
This active participation reflects the growing demand for practical, reliable, and clinically relevant solutions in thoracic, cardiac, and vascular procedures. Through its involvement in CTVSC, idsMED Indonesia reaffirmed its commitment to supporting medical education and advancing healthcare professionals’ competencies across Indonesia.
