The Singapore International Congress of Obstetrics and Gynaecology (SICOG) was first organised by the Obstetrical and Gynaecological Society of Singapore (OGSS) in 2005. Since then, it has served as a distinguished platform for professionals to network, exchange ideas, and explore innovative solutions in obstetrics, gynaecology, and related fields.

This year marked the 13th edition of SICOG, held from 22 – 24 August 2025 at Parkroyal on Beach Road, under the theme “Leading the Change – Empowering Women’s Health Through Innovation and Sustainability.” idsMED Singapore’s Imaging team participated actively, presenting advanced imaging solutions to support ongoing advancements in women’s health.
Before the main conference, the team engaged in Pre-Congress Workshops on 22 August at the NUH Foetal Care Centre. Notably, Prof Simon Meagher, Medical Director of Monash Ultrasound for Women, led the Advanced Obstetric Ultrasound Workshop, delivering expert knowledge and practical skills to participants. With his wealth of experience, he guided participants through his lectures, live demonstrations with patients, and some interesting cases he had encountered. The topics covered specific areas in the Three Trimesters of Pregnancy as well as the Principles of Ultrasound.

During the congress, attendees at the idsMED booth explored the latest imaging technologies through interactive demonstrations, fostering meaningful exchanges between healthcare professionals and idsMED specialists. These interactions enhanced the understanding of innovative solutions in women’s health and helped establish lasting professional connections.
idsMED continues to support the advancement of women’s health through technology, collaboration, and ongoing engagement with the medical community.
