idsMED Singapore Participates in FACT Workshop 2025

The Fundamentals of Airway and Central Line Insertion Techniques (FACT) Workshop was organised by the Department of Anaesthesiology at Singapore General Hospital (SGH). The programme focused on essential skills in airway management, haemodynamic monitoring, and invasive line insertion — critical competencies in acute and critical care settings.

On 30 August 2025, idsMED Singapore participated in the workshop showcasing advanced visual medical devices for video laryngoscopy. These cutting-edge technologies play a key role in improving the safety and success rates of intubation, particularly in complex airway situations.

Throughout the event, idsMED’s Clinical and Product Specialists were on-site to provide guidance and hands-on demonstrations. Participants engaged directly with the devices, gaining practical insights into their clinical applications. The sessions were well received by a multidisciplinary group of doctors from Emergency Medicine, General Surgery, Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT), Intensive Care, and Internal Medicine.

In addition to exploring innovations presented by exhibitors, participants attended sessions conducted by experienced anaesthesiologists. The workshop combined theoretical instruction with hands-on practice, equipping participants with the knowledge and skills to manage both basic and advanced airway challenges, as well as haemodynamic monitoring and invasive line procedures.
