Advancing Orthopaedics: idsMED at IOA 23rd Congress

From 11 to 14 November 2025, the Indonesian Orthopaedic and Traumatology Association held its 23rd National Congress alongside the 45th Annual Meeting of the ASEAN Orthopaedic Association (AOA). Hosted at the Raffles Hotel in Jakarta, the event brought together experts, practitioners, and stakeholders from across the region.

The scientific program featured presentations by prominent speakers and leading orthopaedic specialists. Through comprehensive discussions, they shared the latest advancements, examined evolving practices, and broadened perspectives for emerging orthopaedic professionals.

idsMED participated by showcasing a selection of advanced medical technologies at its exhibition booth. Highlights included the LivaNova ATS Xtra, Baxter’s Allen Advance Table, the KCI VAC Ulta NPWT system, and early introductions to robotic solutions for orthopaedic procedures. These innovations attracted considerable interest from attendees.

With more than 1,000 orthopaedic professionals in attendance, the idsMED booth saw strong engagement. Key solutions—such as the Allen Advance Table for spinal surgery and robotic systems for hip and knee procedures—were among the most visited.
