15th Indonesian PICU NICU Update: Enhancing Pediatric and Neonatal Care

The Paediatric Intensive Care Working Group, together with the Neonatology Working Group and the Bali Branch of the Indonesian Paediatric Society, hosted the 15th Indonesian PICU NICU Update from 4-9 July 2024 in Bali. The event featured workshops, a symposium, and an exhibition, attracting numerous paediatric specialists. idsMED Indonesia actively supported workshops and participated as one of the exhibitors, aiming to enhance knowledge and practices in paediatric and neonatal care.

The Paediatric Intensive Care Working Group (PICU), in collaboration with the Neonatology Working Group of the Indonesian Paediatric Society (NICU) and supported by the Bali Branch of the Indonesian Paediatric Society, successfully organised the 15th Indonesian PICU NICU Update.  Held from 4-9 July 2024 at the Bali International Convention Centre, Nusa Dua, Bali, this year’s event focused on the theme "Updates on Management of Sick Neonates & Children: Change in Practice Improves Patient Outcomes".

The annual event featured workshops, a symposium, and an exhibition. idsMED Indonesia proudly supported two workshops by providing the Natus OBM devices for use during the workshops.  The workshop on "Advanced Mechanical Ventilation in Children: Master Class" was attended by approximately 60 paediatric specialists, while the workshop,  "Master Class aEEG Practice In NICU" led by Dr. Lily Rundjan, Sp.A(K)., FRACP, CCPU and Dr. Putri Maharani Tristanita Marsubrin, Sp.A(K), attracted around 30 enthusiastic participants from across Indonesia. These workshops aimed to equip participants with the latest knowledge and skills in paediatric and neonatal care.

In addition to supporting the workshops, idsMED Indonesia also participated in the symposium and exhibition. The series of events aimed to enhance the medical practitioners’ knowledge of advancements in paediatric and neonatal care, ultimately contributing to improving the quality of life of patients.

On the evening of 6 July 2024, the idsMED Indonesia team hosted a dinner for the participants at Jendela Bali located at GWK.
