idsMED Indonesia and GE Healthcare Jointly Support World Heart Day 2023

On 28 September 2023, World Heart Day 2023 was observed with a main event at the Southeast Plaza of Gelora Bung Karno in Jakarta, Indonesia. The event was hosted by the Indonesian Society of Cardiovascular Specialists (PERKI), in collaboration with the Indonesian Heart Foundation, with valuable support from the Department of Cardiology and Vascular Medicine at the Faculty of Medicine of the University and the National Heart Center of Harapan Kita.

Distinguished guests who attended this event included representatives from the Indonesian Ministry of Health, the Secretariat of the Directorate General of Health Services, as well as delegates from the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy and the Ministry of Youth and Sports.

A diverse range of activities, such as the Heart Walk, MENARI (Meraba Nadi Sendiri), and engaging exhibition booths supported the event. idsMED Indonesia and GE Healthcare played active roles by setting up a booth to showcase cutting-edge products like the GE Versana Premier Ultrasound machine and GE MAC7 EKG equipment. In a heartfelt gesture, the product and clinical teams from idsMED Indonesia generously offered free Echo and EKG examinations to the first 50 visitors at their booth.

The presence of idsMED Indonesia and GE Healthcare at this event is a testament to their commitment to raising awareness and promoting better healthcare services in Indonesia. This occasion serves as a reminder to all to: “Kenali jantungmu, sayangi jantungmu.” (Know your heart, cherish your heart.)
