idsMED Indonesia Participates in the 8th Jakarta Annual Meeting on Clinical Nutrition

idsMED Indonesia participated in the 8th Jakarta Annual Meeting on Clinical Nutrition held at the Sheraton Grand Jakarta Gandaria City Hotel on 12-13 August 2023. Organised by the Indonesian Clinical Nutrition Association Jakarta Chapter (PDGKI Jaya), this annual event featured a series of activities including symposiums, workshops, and exhibition booths.

DR. Dr. Samuel Oetoro, MS, SpGK(K) and DR. Dr. Inge Permadhi, MS, SpGK(K) represented idsMED and gave a comprehensive presentation about the "Visceral Adipose Tissue, Phase Angle, and BIVA Importance in Obesity Treatment: Case Studies" in one of the symposiums.

In addition to the symposium, idsMED Indonesia also had an exhibition booth managed by the Medical Specialty Care (MSC) Team (Product Management and Clinical) along with the Sales and Engineering Teams to showcase the SECA mBCA 554 and SECA mBCA 514.

The SECA mBCA 554 is a medical Body Composition Analyser with optional height measurement and improved graphical analysis to provide an accurate and comprehensive picture of the body composition in seconds, making bioimpedance analysis an even more valuable support for therapy and diagnosis. The SECA mBCA 514, on the other hand, is a medical Body Composition Analyser that breaks down weight into compartments relevant to the field of medicine, namely, fat mass and fat-free mass, body water (made up of extracellular water and intracellular water) and skeletal muscle mass.

By participating in this event, idsMED Indonesia hopes to enhance knowledge and advancements in the field of clinical nutrition in Indonesia.
