On 6th November 2021, idsMED Solutions Plus in collaboration with Christie Medical, conducted a live webinar titled “The Role of the Medical Practitioner: Using Near-Infrared Technology for Vein Assessment”.

Distinguished speakers invited to present at the event included:

• Ns. Indra Jaya Permana, S.Kep, from the Indonesian National Nurses Association (PPNI)
• Yani Setiasih, S.Kep., Ners, MM.Kes., from the Indonesian National Nurses Association (PPNI)
• Ns. Sarah Chapman, RN from Christie Medical, UK.

With the goal of improving knowledge in vein assessment, attending medical practitioners were offered insights on the subject matter through topics such as:

• The Legal Aspects of Vascular Access,
• Best Practices to Increase IV Success on The First Attempt: The Nurse’s Role in Using Near-Infrared, and
• Near-Infrared Technology for Infant Vascular Access

The webinar concluded with a lively Q&A session between the organisers and attending participants.
