On 5 May 2026, the Women’s HealthCare (WHC) Team of idsMED Thailand co-hosted a full-day Advanced 3D/4D OB-GYN Ultrasound Course with GE Healthcare. The course featured Prof. Bernard Benoit, Head of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Princess Grace Hospital Centre, as the keynote speaker.
The event received strong engagement from OB-GYN key opinion leaders (KOLs) across Thailand. Initially planned for 40 participants, the course ultimately welcomed 60 attendees due to overwhelming interest.
Held on the 6th Floor of the Uppakarnwejjakij Building at Chulalongkorn Memorial Hospital, the event required close coordination and meticulous planning. idsMED teams managed all event logistics, including venue set-up, food and beverages, accommodation, and transportation for participating KOLs. These efforts were supported by the Marketing Communications and Office Services teams. Meanwhile, the nationwide sales team actively engaged in participant invitations, with the aim of strengthening confidence in the Voluson ultrasound portfolio and supporting future purchasing considerations for advanced 4D ultrasound systems.
As part of the event, a commemorative gift was presented to Prof. Ruangsak Lertkhachonsuk, MD, Head of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Chulalongkorn Memorial Hospital, in appreciation of the hospital’s collaboration in co-hosting the programme.
GE Healthcare’s WHC team invited Prof. Benoit to lead both the theoretical and hands-on sessions, which covered second-trimester scanning, fetal echocardiography, and gynaecological ultrasound. The programme was further supported by Assoc. Prof. Dhirapatara Charoenvidhaya from the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Chulalongkorn Memorial Hospital conducted fetal echocardiography case reviews and hands-on training using the ViewPoint workstation.
