Training can be fun!

On November 29th, 2019, idsMED Indonesia held a massive training for all Operations employees on Fundamentals of Job & Process Redesign. Led by Pak Ata and Pak Mahadi, the training consists of knowledge-sharing and interactive activities & games as the perfect media to deliver the idea and content to the employees. It was divided into three parts: Game 1, Game 2 and Game 3.

Delivered to the participants, every game has its own learnings and purposes. The curriculum of the training was inspired and adopted from Leonard, who is the leader of idsMED’s newest division, Project & Medical Solutions. All idsMED Indonesia’s management team has also gone through and experienced this training first-hand some time ago. This training was extremely useful and opened the participant’s eyes to new perspectives when looking into a business process.

The core message of the training is how to do more with less; which involves identifying which job or process improves productivity & efficiency, strategies in the operational decision, and overall eagle-eye view of the business flow and process. As the main purpose of the training is to maximize a firm’s profitability by reducing cost and improving quality, speed, sustainability, and job satisfaction; the training covers various analyses and mappings to better redesign the job & process, such as Process Mapping, Journey Mapping, Flow Analysis, and Waste Analysis. Focus on both internal (operation), and external (customer’s journey map) is equally detrimental in achieving profitability, as well as redesigning current inefficient jobs and processes into an efficient and productive engine, most importantly, satisfied & happy customers.
