On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the establishment of the National Children’s Hospital (1969 - 2019), the Children’s Cardiology Centre hosted the Science Session with the theme: "New advances in the treatment of congenital cardiac".

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Dr. Nguyen Ly Thinh Truong – Centre Director said: “This session is an opportunity for us to meet the teachers and colleagues who supported the Centre in particular and National Children’s Hospital in general, during the process of construction and development, to become one of the leading units in the country to perform surgery and cardiovascular intervention for children.

At the same time, this is also an opportunity for the doctors at the hospital to learn from leading experts, contributing to improve skills and quality in medical examination and treatment activities. "

Taking place on 11 and 12 July 2019, the session attracted the participation of 20 leading cardiologists from the US, Japan and South Korea, presenting more than 30 articles about the topics: Congenital Heart Surgery, Congenital Heart Intervention, Electrophysiology and Pediatric Echocardiography

Besides co-sponsoring the program, idsMED Vietnam continued to bring modern medical solutions to assist doctors in medical examination and treatment, detecting congenital heart defects such as Philips Monitors or SPO2.

By the event, idsMED Vietnam once again affirmed its commitment in Vietnam, "WE CARE WITH A HEART, FOR A HEALTHY VIETNAM!", always supporting and accompanying the training courses to improve skills for physicians, nurses and medical staffs.
