On October 25th, Fetal Echocardiography Workshop was successfully held at the Central Obstetrics Hospital, attracting the participation of more than 300 obstetricians and doctors in image diagnosing of hospital of Northern Region Hospital. The workshop was organized by idsMED Vietnam in collaboration with the National Hospital of Obstetrics and Gynecology and Philips Vietnam.

In the opening remarks, Assoc. Dr. Tran Danh Cuong - Director of National Hospital of Obstetrics and Gynecology expresses appreciations and welcomes all the presents of doctors and professors at the workshop. Dr. Danh Cuong expects that the seminar would be an opportunity for the doctors to update the new knowledge as well as valuable experience from domestic and international expert. Follow by that, Assoc. Dr. Tran Danh Cuong has shared about the current situations of ultrasound and fetal cardiac diagnosis in the National Hospital of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Dr Joanna Halina Szymkiewicz Dangel, Department of Perinatal Cardiology and Congenital Anomalies, Reference Center for Prenatal Cardiology, Poland shared 3 practical presentations on the topics of: Essential sections in fetal echocardiography; Normal & abnormalities in fetal heart; Reported in fetal ultrasound.
With more than 20 years’ experience in fetal ultrasound, Prof. Dangel has been successful in developing and diagnosing congenital heart disease, echocardiography, and fetal cardiac interventions. Throughout the three sharing sessions, Prof. Dangel updated the information and shared useful expertise for obstetricians and imaging clinicians.

In the workshop, M.S. Do Thi Thu Hang - product specialist of idsMED Vietnam introduced the outstanding features, and best support for medical practice of Philips ultrasound.



idsMED Viet Nam presented and introduced many of Philips Ultrasound and pediatrics products at the workshop.
