Advancing Heart Imaging Through Regional Training and Collaboration

On 13 and 28 March 2026, idsMED Philippines participated in PSE-led activities in Northern Luzon and Western Visayas, supporting ultrasound and echocardiography training. Through hands-on demonstrations of VIVID and LOGIQ systems, the team engaged clinicians and reinforced its commitment to imaging excellence and partnerships.

On 13 and 28 March 2026, idsMED Philippines participated in regional activities organised by the Philippine Society of Echocardiography (PSE) across Northern Luzon and Western Visayas. These included collaborations with the Philippine Society of Ultrasound in Obstetrics and Gynaecology (PSUOG) for a Point-of-Care Ultrasound Workshop in Ilocos Norte, and with the Philippine Heart Association (PHA) for Echo Camp 2026 in Panay.

The PSUOG workshop, held on 13 March at Amici Resort Hotel in Laoag City, featured discussions on FAST (Focused Assessment with Sonography for Trauma), including ultrasound knobology, scanning basics, and thoracic and abdominal applications.

Echo Camp 2026, held on 28 March at Sam’s 21 Hotel in Iloilo City and themed “Collaboration for Precision in Echocardiography,” delivered a competency-driven programme focused on diagnostic accuracy, clinical relevance, and interactive learning.

At both events, idsMED Philippines and GE Healthcare showcased the VIVID and LOGIQ ultrasound series, with Product Sales Specialists conducting hands-on demonstrations for participants.

These engagements reflect idsMED Philippines’ ongoing commitment to strengthening its presence, advancing imaging capabilities, and fostering partnerships within the echocardiography community.
