Driving Excellence in Anesthesiology: idsMED at KONAS PERDATIN 2025

The Indonesian Society of Anesthesiology and Intensive Therapy (PERDATIN) held its 14th National Congress (KONAS XIV) from 13 to 21 October 2025, in Pekanbaru, themed “Empowering Individuals for Future Challenges.” idsMED supported key workshops on PDT, ICU therapy, and airway management while showcasing advanced devices. The event fostered knowledge exchange and highlighted idsMED’s commitment to advancing anesthesiology and critical care in Indonesia.

The Indonesian Society of Anesthesiology and Intensive Therapy (PERDATIN) successfully held its 14th National Congress (KONAS XIV) from 13 to 21 October 2025, at Hotel Pangeran, Pekanbaru.

Carrying the theme “Empowering Individuals for Future Challenges: Adaptive Strategies in Modern Anesthesiology and Critical Care”, the event served as a key platform for anesthesiology and critical care professionals to exchange knowledge, share experiences, and explore the latest innovations in the field.

A diverse range of topics was discussed during the congress, including the application of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in anesthesiology and advancements in modern clinical approaches for intensive care.

As part of the event, idsMED actively supported several workshops, including the Percutaneous Dilatational Tracheostomy (PDT) Workshop, Interventional Therapy in ICU Workshop, and Airway Management and Critical Care Workshop. idsMED also showcased a range of advanced medical devices, including the PDT Kit, Airway Management Manikin Kit, SIUI Ultrasound, Redax, and CVC Bioptimal, all of which played an integral role in the hands-on training sessions.

One of the key highlights was the active participation of more than 25–30 attendees throughout the workshops. The sessions covered essential areas like PDT procedures, airway anatomy, cannula maintenance, post-PDT patient management, and palliative care.

This strong participation underscores idsMED’s ongoing commitment to supporting medical education and the advancement of anesthesiology and critical care practices across Indonesia.
