The NUH Advanced Skull Base Masterclass 2025 gathered neurosurgeons and neurosurgical residents from Singapore and across the Asia-Pacific region for a three-day learning programme held from 24–26 September 2025. Hosted at the Khoo Teck Puat Advanced Surgical Training Centre (ASTC), National University Hospital, the annual event featured a two-day Cadaveric Dissection Course and a one-day Symposium.
idsMED Singapore, in collaboration with Integra, showcased advanced technologies designed to support and enhance skull base surgical procedures. Participants engaged in hands-on demonstrations, gaining practical experience and deeper insight into the products’ clinical applications.
The masterclass also featured expert-led sessions by a distinguished international faculty, including Professor Sebastian Froelich (France), Professor James Rutka (Canada), Professor Doo-Sik Kong (South Korea), and Professor Chang-Ki Hong (South Korea). More than 90 participants benefitted from in-depth discussions on skull base tumour management and hands-on surgical training focused on open skull base approaches.
Through its participation, idsMED Singapore contributed to the learning experience with the presentation of clinically relevant solutions for skull base tumour management, reinforcing its commitment to supporting medical education and clinical advancement in the region.
