idsMED Singapore Joins Singapore Management University’s Career Fair 2023

idsMED Singapore participated in the annual Singapore Management University (SMU) Postgraduate Career and Networking Fair, which was held on 22 September 2023 at the SMU Administration Building. Participating as an employer in the event was an excellent opportunity for the company to engage with the promising talent pool of fresh SMU postgraduates.

At the fair, the idsMED booth was managed by the HR team, and the booth served as an informative hub where students could gain valuable insights about idsMED and get a glimpse of what it’s like to be part of the idsMED workforce. During the event, the HR team unveiled a range of career opportunities for prospective candidates, including roles like Solutions Specialist in Medical Sales, Engineering Specialist, and internships across various departments.

To enhance the students’ experience and make it more interactive, the HR team organised a special activity at the booth. Students who interacted with idsMED Singapore’s social media content on platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, or LinkedIn were given a chance to “spin the wheel” and win attractive prizes. These prizes, all related to idsMED Singapore, included surgical masks, hand sanitisers, wet wipes, handphone stands, and toothbrushes. They aimed to serve as a positive reminder of idsMED to the students when they eventually use the items.  This activity allowed students to learn more about the company, and what it’s like to work at idsMED as they viewed and engaged with the content on the various social media platforms.

The career fair yielded significant results, with numerous SMU postgraduate students expressing their keen interest in joining the idsMED Singapore workforce. This achievement was made possible through the hard work and dedication of the HR team who managed an engaging idsMED booth with gamification elements at the SMU career fair. Through the creation of an engaging and informative booth, the team empowered the students to envision themselves as integral members of the idsMED Singapore team and contribute to making a positive impact on the Singapore healthcare industry.
