With the theme “Unity for a Breakthrough”, idsMED Vietnam held its Annual Country Meeting in Hanoi on 6 and 7 May 2022. A total of 63 staff ranging from Grade 5 and above and selected staff from the three branches attended the meeting.
Mr. Rufi Susanto, idsMED Group President, opened the event with his meaningful sharing and inspiration to the members of idsMED Vietnam.
Mr. Hiep Nguyen, MD and SVP Vietnam delivered a summary of the Group Strategic Plan 2021-2023 and idsMED Vietnam’s FY21-22 review. This was followed by an analysis of the market situation vis-a-vis the internal status of idsMED Vietnam in the new financial year. The important goals of idsMED Vietnam in the new financial year were also shared with all the members. Mr. Hiep once again emphasised on unity to create strength by working together to overcome obstacles and complete the important targets for the FY22-23 and the years ahead.
This was followed by an update from GE Healthcare Vietnam about the company as well as its development in Vietnam, especially the Maternal and Infant Care, and Diagnostic Cardiology care segments.
The afternoon session started with the educational track by the guest speaker Assoc. Dr. Pham The Anh, Head of Macroeconomics Faculty, National Economics University - on macroeconomic overview of the world and Vietnam, the impacts on the medical industry, and the medical equipment supply market. Next, four groups comprising of Field Sales Specialists (FSS)-Medical Specialty Care (MSC)-MarCom, BioMedical Engineering (BME), Operations (OPS) and Revenue Funnel Management, and Country Management Services (CMS) talked about their action plans for FY 2022-2023. All groups expressed their determination and readiness to achieve the targets of this year.
The first day of the ACM ended at 6 PM, a fruitful and productive working day, followed by a gala dinner at a mountain village 70 km away. The night was filled with fun and performances by the members.
The second day was equally exciting with team-building activities to create cohesion and engagement among members who displayed agility and cooperation in each game. Everyone was excited to break the space between members, thus creating a competitive atmosphere when entering challenging parts of the games.
