idsMED Vietnam Conducts "Basic Mechanical Ventilation" Training for 115 People’s Hospital

On 27 May 2024, idsMED Vietnam collaborated with the 115 People’s Hospital’s Intensive Care Department for "Basic Mechanical Ventilation" Training. Focused on mechanical ventilation fundamentals and Hamilton’s Intelligent Ventilation Mode for optimised patient care, the training was attended by over 50 doctors from Ho Chi Minh and the southern region.

idsMED Vietnam, in collaboration with the 115 People’s Hospital’s Intensive Care and Antidote Department, conducted a medical training on "Basic Mechanical Ventilation" at the hospital on 27 May 2024.

Over 50 doctors from hospitals in Ho Chi Minh City and the southern region participated in the training. The training covered the fundamentals of mechanical ventilation, the functions of respiratory machines, patient care during mechanical ventilation, and more about the Hamilton ventilator. The session was led by   Associate Professor Dr. Du Quoc Huy and Dr. Vu Dinh Thang and a team of doctors from the Intensive Care and Antidote Department of 115 People’s Hospital.

During the training, Dr. Tran Huy Nhat from the Intensive Care and Antidote Department of 115 People’s Hospital demonstrated the functions of Hamilton’s Intelligent Ventilation Mode - ASV in Mechanical Ventilation for Patients. This exclusive intelligent ventilation equipment from Hamilton enables automatic adjustment of airway pressure based on lung mechanics, simultaneously protecting the patient’s lungs. It optimises the airway management process, ensuring safety and effectiveness.
