idsMED Vietnam Partners with Hamilton Medical for “Basic Ventilation for Critical Care Doctors” Training

From 26 to 31 July and 2 to 3 August, idsMED Vietnam and Hamilton Medical company facilitated the "Basic Ventilation for Critical Care Doctors” training at the Intensive Care Unit of the Bach Mai Hospital in Hanoi.

Over 50 resident doctors of Hanoi Medical University specialising in emergency resuscitation attended the training to be equipped with basic knowledge and skills in artificial ventilation.

During the training, idsMED Vietnam’s product specialists supported the trainers to introduce and update the trainees on ventilator mode. Among the various types of ventilator mode, is Hamilton’s exclusive INTELLiVENT®-ASV® intelligent breathing mode that can automatically adjust to the patient’s breathing based on mechanical parameters and automatically wean the patient off the ventilator, thereby helping shorten the patient’s hospital stay and reducing the workload for doctors.

The participants appreciated the training program with its updated content. They also praised the innovative and visually engaging teaching approach with hands-on practice to help them gain a better understanding of the machines.
