For centuries, leprosy has been wrongly labelled as a “death sentence,” surrounded by fear and myths that continue to fuel stigma today. Leprosy—also known as Hansen’s disease—is a curable condition, and early detection plays a crucial role in preventing complications and disability.

On 15 January 2026, idsMED supported the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Indonesia, in organising a Basic Point-of-Care Ultrasound (POCUS) Workshop at the idsMED Learning Academy. The programme equipped 26 emergency medicine students with essential ultrasound knowledge and hands-on experience, covering key applications to support faster, more accurate, and evidence-based decision-making in emergency care.

On 26 December 2025, idsMED Vietnam successfully delivered three LINET AVE 2 birthing beds to Vinmec Times City International General Hospital, supporting its mission to advance maternal and neonatal healthcare. This initiative strengthens collaboration with leading healthcare institutions and enhances modern obstetric care by improving efficiency while supporting safe, comfortable, and mother-centred childbirth experiences.

Glaucoma is a serious eye condition that can gradually steal vision without warning. Often progressing silently, it remains one of the leading causes of irreversible blindness worldwide. Glaucoma Awareness Month serves as a reminder of the importance of understanding the disease and taking proactive steps to protect eye health.

On 19 and 22 December 2025, idsMED Vietnam conducted a medical simulation training and hands-on user guidance programme at the National Children’s Hospital. Using Laerdal’s paediatric and neonatal resuscitation simulators, the programme combined practical instruction with realistic clinical scenarios. Participants reported improved resuscitation skills, stronger team coordination, and greater confidence in managing paediatric and neonatal emergencies.

For the second year, idsMED Philippines was honoured as one of HR Asia’s Best Companies to Work For in Asia 2025. On 18 September 2025, idsMED Vietnam held its Q2 FY26 Country Town Hall, uniting the Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi offices. MD & SVP Ms. Khuong Ho shared business updates, celebrated key projects, and emphasised unity in achieving FY26 goals, while also highlighting mental well-being and introducing the Monthly Coffee Chat with MD program. HR announced AAA Family Day 2025 dates, followed by a Q&A and Mid-Autumn greetings with gifts from the Ho Chi Minh City Branch Union.

Cervical health has become an increasing concern amid today’s fast-paced lifestyles, where busy schedules and limited awareness can delay preventive care. Yet cervical cancer remains one of the most preventable and treatable cancers when detected early, making regular screening essential.
