Although robotic surgery is one of the newest advancements in medical technology, it has already gained a reputation — some of it shaped by misconceptions and second-hand anecdotes

On 13 October 2025, idsMED Vietnam completed the installation, training, and handover of the SIUI Apogee 6500 Ultrasound System to Can Tho City General Hospital. The system offers advanced imaging technology, including comprehensive cardiovascular measurements, Glossy Flow 3D visualisation, Auto IMT, and a user-friendly interface. Its versatile design supports accurate diagnoses and enhances the quality of patient care.

While we may still be far from achieving the healing sprays or nano-tech miracles often seen in popular culture, today’s medical science has already reached milestones that would astonish generations past. One such breakthrough is robotic surgery.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, we were reminded of one of the most essential of these habits: handwashing. This simple yet powerful act remains a cornerstone of good health and hygiene.

On 12 October 2025, idsMED Singapore joined the Potong Pasir Health and Wellness Fiesta to promote active ageing and wellness through innovation. The ILTC and PSS teams showcased the PARO Therapeutic Robot, SilverFit virtual therapy system, and Lucynt Interactive Projection—technologies designed to inspire physical activity, engagement, and well-being among older adults. The event highlighted how innovation empowers healthier, more connected communities.

On 4–5 October 2025, idsMED Singapore participated in the 7th Singapore Anaesthesia Refresher Course (SARC), held alongside the KK Hospital Obstetrics Anaesthesia Symposium at SingHealth Academia. The event gathered over 300 healthcare professionals to explore advancements in anaesthesia, intensive care, and pain medicine, with idsMED featuring innovations from InnoQ, GE HealthCare, and ICU Medical.

For the second year, idsMED Philippines was honoured as one of HR Asia’s Best Companies to Work For in Asia 2025. The company also received two Special Category Awards: “Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion” and, for the first time, “Sustainable Workplace.” These recognitions highlight idsMED Philippines’ commitment to fostering an inclusive, sustainable, and engaging workplace culture.

On 18 September 2025, idsMED Vietnam held its Q2 FY26 Country Town Hall, uniting the Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi offices. MD & SVP Ms. Khuong Ho shared business updates, celebrated key projects, and emphasised unity in achieving FY26 goals, while also highlighting mental well-being and introducing the Monthly Coffee Chat with MD program. HR announced AAA Family Day 2025 dates, followed by a Q&A and Mid-Autumn greetings with gifts from the Ho Chi Minh City Branch Union.

On 26 September 2025, idsMED Thailand received the HR Asia Best Companies to Work for in Asia 2025 award, marking its third consecutive win. There are two award types this year, recognising top employers and organisations excelling in diversity, equity, and inclusion. Representing MD Mr. Paithoon Pureethip, Mr. Natapol Kongim and Metani Ausawalarp accepted the award, highlighting idsMED Thailand’s commitment to employee well-being and a positive workplace culture.
