“Oxygen Therapy in Critical Infant, Children & Adult” Webinar

idsMED Indonesia, in collaboration with the Department of Anaesthesiology and Intensive Care, Faculty of Medicine of the University of North Sumatra (USU), conducted an online webinar on “Oxygen Therapy in Critical Infant, Children and Adult” on 14 May 2022. The webinar aimed to inform healthcare personnel and doctors of the developments and updates on oxygen therapy.

Dr. Haizah Nurdin, M.Kes, Sp.An, KIC. moderated the event featuring several distinguished speakers, namely Dr. dr. Ririe F. Malisie, Sp.A(K) – Chairperson of UKK Eria Indonesian Paediatric Society, Dr. dr. Bastian Lubis, M.Ked(An), Sp.An-KIC - Intensivist in Adam Malik Hospital, and Ron Fantl, RRT – Director Medical Education International Vapotherm.

Each speaker spoke on their area of expertise: Dr. dr. Ririe F. Malisie, Sp.A(K) discussed “Know How: Oxygen Therapy and NIV in Children”, while Dr. dr. Bastian Lubis, M.Ked(An), Sp.An-KIC talked about “Oxygen Delivery Devices in ICU: Review and Recommendation”, and Ron Fantl, RRT discussed “High Velocity Therapy: The Next Step in High Flow”.

The event closed with a Q&A session and a brief presentation of the Vapotherm by Cery Manarisip, a representative from the Product Management team.
