Podcare: YKPI Cancer Survivor Recovery Story

On 29 January 2022, the idsMED Learning and Advisory, in collaboration with the Indonesian Breast Cancer Foundation (YKPI) conducted a PodCare session on Breast Cancer Counselling and Prevention. This podcast session was initiated to provide support and encouragement for cancer patients.

Mrs. Endang Juniarti, a cancer survivor from the YKPI, was invited to share her experience and recovery from cancer with the host, Kartika Primaesa from idsMED Learning and Advisory.

During the session, Mrs. Endang shared her story from whence she was diagnosed with the early stage of cancer. Mrs. Endang explained the symptoms and the struggles she experienced whilst battling cancer. She felt fortunate to have recovered from the disease. She also encouraged those who are fighting cancer to monitor their health condition regularly and maintain a healthy lifestyle. In addition, she reassured everyone with breast cancer that chemotherapy is an effective and reliable cancer treatment.

Through this PodCare session, Mrs. Endang and YKPI hope that their message can reach cancer patients and encourage them to seek support from their beloved family and friends.
