Sixth National Congress – Intensive Care for Every Doctors: How to Apply Theories to Clinical Practices

The 6th National Congress - Indonesian Society of Intensive Care Medicine held on 19-24 October at Pulman Surabaya. This event was a national congress of anesthesia doctor & consultant of intensive care. This event was attended by almost 1,500 participants of general practitioners and specialists.

KONAS PERDICI. 6th National Congress – Indonesian Society of Intensive Care Medicine took place at Pullman Surabaya City Center on 19-24 October 2016. 

This event was a national congress for anesthesia doctors and intensive care consultants. On 19-20 October 2016, the workshop was held with the topic:

1. Pediatric Fundamental Critical Care Support (PFCCS)

2. Basic Mechanical Ventilation

3. Hemodynamic Monitoring in Emergency Situation

4. Nursing course on Ventilator Management

About 40-100 partcipants of general practitioners, specialist doctors, nurses, and intensive care staffs attended each of the workshops provided by the congress. 

The symposium started from 21-22 October to dicsuss the latest scientific intensive care of antibiotic resistance, treatment of patients in ICU, insurance and reimbursement programs for ICU patient in Indonesia, intensive care education progranm and the use of ventilator in the ICU. The symposium was attended by 1,500 participants, consisting of general practitioners and specialists.

On 23-24 October, FCCS held the post symposium for general practicioners and specialists who want to learn about patient care with ventilator and emergency patients in ICU.

idsMEd Indonesia participated in both the symposium and workshop presenting some premium medical products, such as Hamilton S1, Hill-Rom Care Assist, GE Monitor B650, Hill-Rom Vest, and Athens Patient Simulator. 

Organisers reported that the participants were very enthusiastic about this educational congress.
