The 8th Annual Neonatology Update: Collaboration Intervention in Early Life for a Better Future

From 5-8 June 2024, idsMED Indonesia participated in the 8th Annual Neonatology Update at the Claro Hotel Makassar. idsMED Indonesia showcased its innovative products in neonatal care, supported various workshops and presented a symposium on "Closed Loop FiO2 Control ’Oxigenie’ in NICU" at the four-day event attended by 500 healthcare professionals providing neonatal care in Indonesia.

The Indonesian Society of Pediatrics - South Sulawesi Branch, in collaboration with the Indonesian Neonatology Working Group (UKK Neonatologi), successfully organised the 8th Annual Neonatology Update. The four-day event, held from 5-8 June 2024 at the Claro Hotel Makassar, brought together 500 participants, including neonatologists, paediatricians, general practitioners, and nurses, to discuss and learn about the latest advancements in neonatal care.

This year’s Annual Neonatology Update focused on the theme "Collaboration Intervention in Early Life for a Better Future," emphasising the importance of collaborative efforts among healthcare professionals to improve neonatal care. The event featured a comprehensive program of workshops, symposiums, and exhibition booths, providing participants with valuable hands-on training and in-depth knowledge updates.

idsMED Indonesia actively participated in the event by showcasing its innovative products and expertise in neonatal care. The company supported several workshops, including:

  • Neonatal Resuscitation
  • Comprehensive Neonatal Stabilization in the First Six Hours of Life: Neonatal Ward and NICU
  • Basic Mechanical Ventilation
  • Non-Invasive Respiratory Support
  • Nutritional Support in Preterm Infants
  • Birth Asphyxia and Cooling Therapy
  • Invasive Procedures in Neonates
  • Operative Care for Neonates

In addition to the workshops, idsMED Indonesia participated as one of the event’s exhibitors and presented a symposium entitled "Closed Loop FiO2 Control ’Oxigenie’ in NICU" led by Dr. Peter Reynolds, MBBS, M.Sc. Ph.D.

By participating in this event, idsMED Indonesia hopes to enhance the knowledge of healthcare professionals providing neonatal care services in Indonesia.
