idsMED Singapore Gears Up For Tsunami Leap

idsMED Singapore Kicked Off The New Financial Year Ceremoniously on 2nd April 2018.
 
The event was organized to not only mark the start of the financial year but also to formally announce the new FSS structure to the whole team. The new structure is in line with the recently announced Organization Strategy by our CEO, Mr Ben Chang, during the CEO Townhall.
 

The proceedings of the day started with a speech from Singapore’s Managing Director, Ms Sally Ng who shared her vision and excitement with the roll out of the new structure. The new structure promises to make the team more streamlined and to be more customer focused. All the FSS cluster heads and various Department heads were present to witness and partake in the cake cutting as well as a very special ceremony — the coloring of one of the Japanese Darumo Doll’s eyes. The Japanese Darumo doll, a thoughtful gift by one of our Japanese partners, is a traditional hollow, round doll and is regarded as a symbol of good luck to the Japanese. As per tradition, one of the doll’s eyes is colored at the beginning or setting of an important goal, and the other eye is colored once the goal is achieved. Sally, together with all the other functional and department head, indulged in the coloring of the doll’s eye.
 
This was then followed by a toast of champagne (in plastic disposable cups!) and a sumptuous breakfast. Soon after, different teams occupied the various meeting rooms for their individual strategy sessions.
 
It was indeed the start of a very special day, and here’s hoping that Team SG and the entire Group achieves its goals way ahead of time.
