On World Thalassaemia Day, the focus extends to prevention through carrier screening. Often symptom-free, “hidden carriers” may unknowingly pass on risk, yet stigma keeps testing taboo. Reframing screening as routine, shared knowledge—and approaching it with openness—helps shift the narrative from secrecy to informed, responsible decision-making.

On 5 May 2026, idsMED Thailand co-hosted an Advanced 3D/4D OB-GYN Ultrasound Course with GE Healthcare at Chulalongkorn Memorial Hospital. Featuring Prof. Bernard Benoit as the keynote speaker, the event attracted 60 OB-GYN KOLs nationwide. The programme combined theoretical and hands-on sessions on second-trimester scanning, fetal echocardiography, and gynaecological ultrasound.

From 3–4 May 2026, idsMED Thailand supported the launch of the GE Vivid Pioneer at SO/ Bangkok, bringing together leading cardiologists from across the country. The two-day event featured expert discussions, educational sessions, and hands-on training, showcasing the system’s advanced AI-powered imaging capabilities and reinforcing idsMED’s commitment to cardiovascular innovation and clinical excellence.

From 28 April to 2 May 2026, Indoanesthesia 2026 brought together anaesthesia professionals in Jakarta to share knowledge, explore advancements, and enhance clinical practice. idsMED Indonesia contributed through workshops and showcased key medical solutions, reinforcing its commitment to supporting high-quality anaesthesia services and professional development in Indonesia.

Robotic-assisted surgery enables smaller incisions and greater precision by translating a surgeon’s movements into controlled, tremor-free actions with enhanced 3D visualisation. This minimally invasive approach reduces tissue damage, leading to less pain, lower risk, and faster recovery—while keeping the surgeon fully in control.

For the second year, idsMED Philippines was honoured as one of HR Asia’s Best Companies to Work For in Asia 2025. On 26 September 2025, idsMED Thailand received the HR Asia Best Companies to Work for in Asia 2025 award, marking its third consecutive win. There are two award types this year, recognising top employers and organisations excelling in diversity, equity, and inclusion.
