The 3rd National Emergency Critical Care Symposium (3rd NECCS)will be held on the 15th and 16th of March 2017 at Amanjaya Convention Centre (AJCC), Casuarina@Meru Hotel ,Ipoh, Perak.This symposium is organised by the Ipoh Emergency Medicine Society (IEMS).
NECCS has become established as one of the largest symposium in its field in Malaysia. The main objectives are to provide participants with an up to date review on the most recent and clinically relevant therapy and management of the critically ill.
Apart from the lectures which will be presented in sets of mini-symposium and plenaries, and the much anticipated “special invitational lecture” session, we will be introducing a new slot, “Young Speakers Session” as a platform to polish the new and budding colleagues.
The target audiences for this symposium are not only for emergency physicians and emergency medicine residents, but also for medical officer,internal medicine specialist, anaesthesia & critical care specialist and last but not least for family medicine specialist. There will be topics tailored for allied medical health personnel and medical students as well. It is also relevant for those who are directly or indirectly involved in the management of the critically ill patients.
