The rainy season is coming! With so many viruses flying around in the air, make sure you don’t catch a cold. To help you survive in the rainy season, here are some tips to stay healthy and prevent diseases.

 

Do not Forget Your Rain Gear

Always bring your rain gear while going out. Having an umbrella or raincoat will protect your body from being soaked by the rain. If needed, also wear rain boots to protect your feet getting wet and dirty. Lastly, bring your hand sanitizer as the handy gear helps to sanitize your hands on the go.

 

Maintain Your Nutrition

Avoid your temptation of eating street food or junk food. To face the tough rainy season, you real healthy food loaded with nutrients your body needs! Vitamin C has long been considered as the ideal precaution against catching the common cold. Eating plenty of fruit and vegetable every day should give you enough vitamin C. If needed, consuming multivitamins can also be an option to help boost your immune system.

 

Check the Weather Forecast

Looking at the window and you see a blue sky. However, ten minutes later you see the gray sky and suddenly rain starts falling. Next time you go out with your friends or family, make sure you check the weather forecast on TV or mobile apps. It will keep you updated and make you prepared.

 

Keep Yourself Warm

Cold weather mostly slows down your immune. You tend to easily tired and cold, especially if you are in the windy outdoors a lot. Some offices have a pre-set air condition level that is also too cold. To fight this, make sure your body is warm by wearing a sweater, scarf, jacket and even socks. They are not only covering your body from bad weather but also preventing illness.
