idsMED clinical apps team held a Basic Life Support Training in RSUD Pasar Rebo on 13-14 January 2017. The event was opened with with a discussion and knowledge sharing on cardio vascular and blood vessels emergency cases by Dr. Aflah, SpAN. The training session continued with participants – doctors and a team of nurses – conducting several scenarios of cardiac cases in the ICU, inpatient wards, polyclinic, as well as several public areas in the hospital, using a patient simulator, Lucina, from CAE Healthcare.

The objective of the training was to assess the RSUD Pasar Rebo code blue team readiness in handling cardio related emergency cases. Attendees were very appreciative and highly enthusiastic during the full course of the training as they found the Basic Life Support Training very useful and a great addition to their daily life support and life-saving skills.
