idsMED Hong Kong Joins the Gerontech Innovation Expo and Summit (GIES) 2022

On 2-5 November 2022, idsMED Hong Kong participated in the Gerontech Innovation Expo and Summit (GIES) 2022 held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre.

The GIES 2022 was jointly hosted by the Government of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and the Hong Kong Council of Social Service and co-organised by the Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation. It is by far the largest gerontechnology public event in Hong Kong, with about 180 companies participating which attracted about 23,000 visitors to the 4-day event.

idsMED showcased its latest products, which included the:
• D-free device - the first wearable device to prevent incontinence and assist in toilet training
• Paro - therapeutic robot baby harp seal
• Amity ViruFoam and Virusolve+ Wipes
• i-SENS and Belun Ring

Upon the organisers’ exclusive invitation, idsMED showcased the D-Free device at the event’s themed pavilion “居家照護 TECH@home”, which quickly became one of the most-enquired products by visitors. This opportunity undoubtedly boosted the D-Free potential in the Hong Kong market.
