On 15 March, idsMED Vietnam held a workshop on "Introduction to low-temperature sterilisation technology" at the Military Central Hospital 108.
The workshop was to introduce the doctors to the low-temperature thermal technology of the VPRO MAX machine, a product made by Steris.
Low-temperature sterilisation by H2O2 has several advantages:

- Quick sterilisation (about 1 hour)
- Effective on the entire bacterial spectrum
- Waste emission into the environment: Water vapor and oxygen

An important point to emphasise was the handling of tools must be completely clean and dry before sterilisation.
