New Healthcare Technologies Highlighted at Thailand Hospital Directors’ Meeting

From 5–7 August 2026, idsMED Thailand participated in the annual meeting of Thailand’s hospital directors, bringing together more than 400 hospital executives from across the country. The event provided an opportunity for the team to engage with healthcare leaders, showcase medical technologies and gain insights into emerging priorities and investment plans within Thailand’s hospital sector.

Led by the Thailand management team, idsMED presented a selection of healthcare technologies, with a particular focus on the GE Vscan SL with Easy EF application and the Edge Medical MP1000 robotic surgical system.

The GE Vscan SL with Easy EF application was highlighted for its potential role in supporting primary screening for heart failure. Designed to assist general practitioners in identifying patients who may require further cardiac assessment, the solution generated interest among hospital directors and healthcare professionals visiting the booth. The team secured at least six qualified leads during the event, providing opportunities for further engagement and follow-up.

The team also introduced Edge Robotics, featuring the MP1000 Multi-Port robotic surgical system. A clinical video demonstrating the system’s capabilities and smooth instrument movement, supported by the experience of a leading general surgeon from Siriraj Hospital, helped visitors gain a better understanding of the technology and its potential applications in surgical care.

Over the three-day meeting, the team engaged with hundreds of visitors and held discussions with hospital executives from across Thailand. These interactions provided valuable insights into upcoming hospital budgets, technology priorities and potential areas for collaboration. Relevant leads and market intelligence were subsequently shared with the respective sales teams for follow-up.

The event highlighted the importance of continued engagement with hospital leadership and healthcare professionals across Thailand.
